Launching soon on iPhone & Android

It’s 1:47am.
Again.

You meant to be asleep by 11. Evenbed is for people who lose the evening to their phone. You pick one bedtime, and at that time the apps that keep you up step aside, with your own words in their place.

You know this feeling

You meant to be asleep hours ago.

11:02

“Just checking one thing.”

12:24

“One more video.”

1:47

“How much sleep do I get if I fall asleep right now?”

Bedtime procrastinationnoun · psychology

Going to bed later than you meant to, with nothing stopping you but you. It isn’t that you don’t know better. Your evening is often the first time all day that feels like yours.

Kroese et al., Frontiers in Psychology, 2014

It’s not willpower

3pm you makes the plan. 1am you breaks it.

At 1am you’re deciding with a tired brain, in front of a feed that never ends. That’s a fight nobody wins every night.

3pm you

“In bed by 11 tonight. Easy.”

1am you

“It’s only one.”

So let 3pm you decide, and let Evenbed hold it at night.

The bedtime pause

At your bedtime, the apps that keep you up step aside.

Pick the apps. From your bedtime until you wake, opening one shows your own words instead. How firm it holds is yours to choose.

Gentle

Ten more minutes once a night. Letting tonight go is one tap.

Most people start here
Firm

No ten more minutes. To let tonight go, you write down why first.

Locked

Once the evening starts, Evenbed won’t open your apps before morning.

You choose how firm it is during the day; at night it holds. Your phone’s own settings can always switch Evenbed off. Nothing here can stop that.

On iPhoneIt uses Apple’s Screen Time. Evenbed never sees which apps you pick or what you do in them.
On AndroidIt notices only the name of the app in front. It never reads your screen or what you type, and none of it leaves your phone.
Your first 14 nights

Four stops. Your numbers.

Every stop shows you something from your own nights. None of them tells you how you should feel.

Night 1

Your apps pause at your bedtime for the first time.

Night 3

A first look: are you landing closer to the time you chose?

Night 7

Your first week beside how your nights went before.

Night 14

The before and after, in your own numbers.

How Evenbed works

One thing, done properly.

1

Pick one bedtime

Evenbed starts you a little earlier than you go to bed now, never earlier than the time you actually want. When you keep it, it offers the next small step.

2

A short ritual, then phone down

The same few minutes every night: one breath, set the day down, and your phone goes to bed somewhere that isn’t your bed. Nothing to browse, nothing to read.

3

Proof in your own nights

Evenbed shows what changed: how close you got to your bedtime, and whether your mornings moved. If they didn’t, it says so. Your numbers, not a study.

Why timing matters

It was never about getting more sleep.

Sleep researchers keep landing on the same finding: when you sleep matters as much as how long.

Questions

Good to know

Does it block my apps?

Only the ones you pick, and only from your bedtime until you wake. Opening one shows your own words instead: your goodnight line, what you wanted from tomorrow, where your phone sleeps. Everything else on your phone works as normal.

Can I still get past it?

That’s up to you. Gentle gives you ten more minutes once a night and lets tonight go with one tap. Firm asks you to write down why first. Locked won’t let Evenbed open your apps before morning. Your phone’s own settings can always switch Evenbed off.

Does Evenbed see what I do on my phone?

No. On iPhone, Apple’s Screen Time does the pausing and Evenbed never learns which apps you picked. On Android, Evenbed notices only the name of the app that’s open, never what’s on your screen, and none of it leaves your phone.

Do I need a smartwatch or tracker?

No. Evenbed works with whatever already records your sleep in Apple Health or Health Connect, including the iPhone’s own bedtime tracking. Or just tap “I’m going to bed” and check in each morning in about ten seconds.

Is it on Android?

Yes. Evenbed launches on iPhone and Android at the same time.

How much will it cost?

Joining the waitlist is free. The app starts with a free trial. The bedtime pause is free for your first three nights, then part of Evenbed Pro. Invite three friends with your link and you get three months of Pro free.

What happens to my sleep data?

It’s used only to show you your patterns. We never sell it or use it for ads. You can export or delete everything from the app at any time. Privacy policy.

Is this medical advice?

No. Evenbed is a habit tool for healthy adults. If you think you have a sleep disorder, talk to a doctor.
