Evenbed helps you go to bed at a consistent time. This policy explains what we collect on this website and in the Evenbed app, why we collect it, and your rights. Contact: hello@evenbed.app.

Website and waitlist

• Email address, your device type (iPhone, Android or other), the page you joined from and any referral code you used. We use these to run the waitlist and referral rewards, and to email you: a welcome email when you join, a few updates before launch, and the launch itself. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
• The free tools (sleep age and social jet lag) run entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to us.
• Your browser stores your waitlist place locally so the page remembers you.

In the app

• Account: your email address and settings, such as your target bedtime.
• Sleep data: with your permission, bedtimes, wake times and sleep sessions from Apple Health or Health Connect. On Android, if you turn on passive detection, Evenbed uses the times your screen turns on and off to estimate when you slept. It never sees which apps you use or what’s on screen.
• Check-ins: the energy, mood, clarity and evening notes you enter.
• Usage analytics: which screens you visit and key steps such as starting a trial (Google Firebase Analytics), so we can improve the app.
• Purchases: subscription status, handled by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. We never see your card details.

How we use it

Only to give you the service: calculating your consistency score, showing your patterns, sending the reminders you’ve chosen, and providing Luna’s insights. Health data is never used for advertising and never sold. We don’t share it with data brokers.

AI features

Luna’s observations and replies are written by an AI model from Anthropic. To produce them we send a summary of your recent sleep timing, check-ins and patterns, without your email address, to Anthropic through our server. Anthropic processes it to generate the reply and does not use it to train its models.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase: database and sign-in
• Resend: sending waitlist emails
• Anthropic: AI-generated insights
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google: subscriptions
• Google Firebase: app analytics
• Vercel: hosting this website

Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete yours. App data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account in Settings permanently erases your data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. You can export your sleep log from the app’s Settings, delete your account there, or email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

Evenbed is not for children under 16.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll tell you in the app or by email.
